How the AI chatbot for your company works

While our SmartAssistantAI possesses the conversation skills of a large language model (LLM) like GPT-4, it relies on the data you provide as its knowledge basis – which could include specific information about your company, industry, products or processes. This technique is known as retrieval-augmented generation (RAG – see info box).

In the first step, the SmartAssistantAI is given access to the unstructured, raw data you selected, such as process descriptions, documentation, product data sheets, wikis, user manuals and FAQs.
