Lufthansa Industry Solutions joins the IATA Strategic Partnership Program

Lufthansa Industry Solutions is now a member of the International Air Transport Association's (IATA) Strategic Partnership Program. The Lufthansa subsidiary will be particularly involved in the development of standards and guidelines for digital freight, technology and business processes.

Norderstedt, July 9, 2024 - Lufthansa Industry Solutions has officially joined the Strategic Partnership Program of the International Air Transport Association (IATA). With a history spanning over 70 years, IATA serves as the leading global trade association for the airline industry, representing approximately 330 airlines that collectively manage more than 80% of the world's air traffic.

The IATA Strategic Partnership Program encompasses nearly 400 partners worldwide, fostering collaboration to enhance aviation practices and technologies. The program focuses on more than 35 areas of engagement, covering a wide range of industry activities.

Key projects within this realm include One Record, Interactive Cargo and e-Freight.
