Lufthansa Industry Solutions positions itself wider within the market
Nils Büring, 47, is immediately taking over as head of the Industry and Automotive business unit at Lufthansa Industry Solutions. An engineering graduate who came to the Lufthansa subsidiary in 2001, he has been head of the Automotive Division since 2009. In his new position, he will be assuming responsibility for the profit centers and all customers in the areas of industry and automotive, with a current staff of 111 IT consultants.
Lufthansa Industry Solutions helps the industrial and automotive sectors with their companies’ digital transformations. This Lufthansa subsidiary has an extensive store of experience gleaned from its many projects in a variety of customer situations involving different requirements and objectives. It includes the practical application of internationally recognized methods and standards of project and infrastructure management, whereby customer-specific procedural models are adapted and applied to meet the high demands placed on quality and technology in the industrial and automotive sectors.
The position of Head of the Industry and Automotive Business Unit has only recently been created. Nils Büring will report directly to Bernd Appel, Managing Director of Lufthansa Industry Solutions.
