Munich, January 15, 2025 – Lufthansa Industry Solutions (LHIND) has won the framework agreement for application support for Flughafen München GmbH (FMG) after an intensive tendering process lasting just under a year. As one of a total of two lots, the project has a volume of 71.5 million euros and a period of five years, with an option to extend for a further three years. The contract was signed today in Munich.

FMG operates Munich Airport with its subsidiaries and associated companies. As a full-service operator, FMG offers comprehensive services in the field of airport management. In recent years, FMG has significantly revised its IT strategy in order to meet current requirements. A central element of this strategy is the modernization of IT with the aim of maximizing flexibility and speed.
A key component of this modernization is the “Apps@MUC Business Applications” sub-project, which LHIND was able to win. It covers the core areas of Commercial, Business Solutions, Data Management & Analytics, Workplace Services and Business to Employee.Specifically, LHIND provides support in the development of solutions for CRM, CMS, eCommerce, SAP, Oracle, M365, Adobe, digital HR processes and learning experience offerings.The IT service provider from Norderstedt will contribute its expertise particularly in the areas of software development, middleware, enterprise architecture management, test management, project management and shared services.
