Showcases on damage detection, localization and artificial intelligence / Novel IoT solution for industrial operations / Technological consultation on IoT
Norderstedt, March 29, 2019 – Under the slogan “Integrated Industry – Industrial Intelligence”, this year’s Hannover Messe is putting solutions and developments from the Industrial Internet of Things into the spotlight. At the Lufthansa Industry Solutions booth (Hall 6, booth H17), visitors will be able to find out about the options offered by IoT and try them out for themselves.
Lufthansa Industry Solutions will be presenting six practice-oriented showcases relating to damage detection, localization and artificial intelligence. Using a digital twin of its exhibition stand, Lufthansa Industry Solutions will be unveiling a newly developed IoT solution for industrial operations, among other things. This new solution is the first to combine process and transaction data and analyze them in real-time. Moreover, visitors will be able to have their age and mood estimated by AI and test an IT solution for detecting damage, using a rubber hammer to simulate damage to an air cargo container.
Also new this year is Lufthansa Industry Solutions’ technological consultation. Here, visitors will be able to talk to the LHIND experts Bernhard Kube, Vice President Technology Consultant and Nils Büring, Vice President Industry & Automotive, get an overview of state-of-the-art IoT technologies and discuss individual questions.
“As IT advisors, we assist companies on a daily basis with the digitalization and automation of their business processes,” says Heiko Packwitz, Chief Marketing & Communications Officer at Lufthansa Industry Solutions. “It is precisely this expertise that we want to show off in Hanover and we want to exchange ideas with partners, clients and interested visitors.”
