Norderstedt, March 29, 2018 – On April 1, 2018, Christine Albers will be taking over the management of the new “Application Management Services” (AMS) business unit at Lufthansa Industry Solutions. A bank clerk with additional training as an organization programmer, she has been working for Lufthansa Group since 1988.
Christine Albers came to Lufthansa Industry Solutions in 1996 and has been managing several divisions for the “Maintenance, Repair and Overall” (MRO) business unit since 2008. Until 2011, she was responsible for the non-SAP operation of Lufthansa Technik applications and at the same time for the restructuring of the Operation Center from 2010 to 2011. Since 2012, she has been director and successfully directing and expanding the “ERP and Engine Solutions” area.
The new “Application Management Services” business unit provides services and consulting for all business units of Lufthansa Industry Solutions and its customers. Among the tasks are standardizing the AMS services, bundling competences for new technologies and methods in the context of AMS, and acquiring new customers for AMS Services.
Lufthansa Industry Solutions is a service provider for IT consulting and system integration. This Lufthansa subsidiary helps its clients with the digital transformation of their companies. Its customer base includes companies both within and outside the Lufthansa Group, as well as more than 200 companies in various lines of business. The company is based in Norderstedt and employs more than 1,400 members of staff at several branch offices in Germany, Switzerland and the USA.
