As part of the strategic partnership, LHIND will rely on Mendix's low-code technology to drive the digitization efforts of its national and international customers. The Mendix platform enables the Lufthansa subsidiary to develop customized applications quickly and efficiently. The company will use low-code as an alternative to traditional application development.
More agility through low code
For Lufthansa Industry Solutions, the decisive factor in choosing Mendix was its flexibility and the rapid implementation options for individual apps for a wide range of application areas. In addition, the IT specialist sees further advantages of the low-code platform: because it also allows business engineers with a high IT affinity but little programming experience to develop applications, it also drastically shortens the time-to-market of new applications and thus meets the need for the greatest possible agility. This is of benefit to companies that operate in highly dynamic markets and have to constantly adapt to them.

LHIND is building on broadly diversified areas of application for low-code apps: from process optimization to the comprehensive digitization of business models.
